In short: We do not sell your personal data and we do not transfer it to third parties for marketing. You can use the core features without an account. Location permission is optional. You can delete your account and your data at any time.
1. Scope and controller
This policy applies to the Zikir Vakti Android application published by Haceverse and to the haceverse.vercel.app website. Haceverse is the data controller.

2. Audience and age limit
Zikir Vakti is intended for a general audience and does not target children under thirteen. We do not knowingly collect personal data from users under thirteen. If we learn that we have, we delete it without undue delay. If you believe we hold data about your child, please write to us.
3. Data we collect
3.1. Account information
When you create an account we process your email address, authentication details and the user ID assigned to you. The following fields are optional and may be left blank: name and username, profile photo, bio, date of birth, gender, city and country.

3.5. Location
Location is used to calculate prayer times and the qibla direction. Granting location permission is not required. If you decline, you can select your city manually and the app still works. Location is never used for any purpose other than prayer times and qibla.
3.6. Notifications
To deliver reminders we store a push notification token for your device. You can turn notifications off entirely from the in-app notification settings. Optional “take control of your screen time” reminders (ayah/hadith) and between-prayer random Riyad as-Salihin hadith notifications run only when you enable them; we do not monitor other apps' usage or screen content.

We use Google Firebase Analytics to measure app usage and evaluate advertising performance. Screen views, sessions and certain in-app events (e.g. completing a dhikr goal) are sent to Google together with an app instance ID and the advertising ID; they are not linked to your name, email or account. Turning off More → Settings → “Anonymous usage data” also stops Firebase data collection.
3.8. Data that stays on your device
Your preferences, downloaded Quran translations, catechism and hadith texts, and a copy of your daily records are stored on your device. If you use the app without an account, this data is never sent to our servers and is removed when you uninstall the app.

5. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of performance of a contract (providing the service), your consent (permission-based features such as location and notifications), legitimate interests (security and product improvement) and legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent or transfer your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Data is shared only in the following cases and only to the extent necessary:
- With the infrastructure providers that run the service (see table below)
- Where required by law or upon a lawful request from an authority
- As anonymised, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you

8. Advertising and tracking technologies
The free tier of the app is ad-supported and ads are served through Google AdMob. Under its own policy, AdMob may process device identifiers such as the Advertising ID, approximate location and interaction data. You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your Android settings.
No ads are shown on Quran screens. The mushaf, verse and tafsir screens are excluded from advertising. AI Premium and higher plans remove ads across the whole app.
The app does not use cookies in the browser sense. This website sets no analytics or advertising cookies; only the hosting provider’s technical access logs are kept.
9. AI features
The assistant, smart search, catechism question-and-answer and dua workshop features use Google Gemini. When you use them, only the prompt you send and the relevant content excerpts are transmitted for processing; your account details and worship history are not sent. You can use the entire app without ever using the AI features.
Generated texts are informational and do not constitute a religious ruling (fatwa).

11. Security
- All server communication is encrypted over HTTPS
- Authentication and session management run through our infrastructure provider
- Document-level access and authorisation controls are applied
- Dependencies and security patches are updated regularly
No system is one hundred per cent secure. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures and, in the event of a breach, make the notifications required by law.
12. Your rights
Under the GDPR and Turkish KVKK you have the right to:
- Access your personal data and request a copy
- Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
- Request erasure of your data
- Request restriction of processing
- Object to processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent you have given
- Lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

13. International transfers
Our infrastructure providers may operate servers in different countries. In such cases transfers are carried out with the safeguards required by applicable law.
14. This website
haceverse.vercel.app is a static informational site. It has no forms, sign-in, analytics or advertising cookies. The hosting provider, Vercel, may keep technical access logs (IP address, browser information) under its own policy.
15. Changes
This policy may be updated. The current text is always published at this address and the date at the top of the page is updated. For significant changes we also notify you inside the app.
